Ade Johnson

Ade Johnson is an attorney by day and an award-winning producer by night. He has always had a passion for Film and TV but is a relative newcomer to the entertainment industry. After graduating from Howard University School of Law (HUSL) in 2015, he began working as a regulatory attorney at a law firm in Washington, D.C. Despite being successful and transferring his practice to his hometown Chicago, the pandemic became a catalyst for Ade, like many others, to pursue his true passion. With a new focus on transitioning into entertainment, Ade launched Runtime to showcase the untold stories of Black people. Under this banner he produced the short film “Good Day” which was featured on Revolt’s Short & Fresh HBCU segment, went on to win Best Short Film at the BitterSweet Story Invitational Festival in D.C., and received official selections for numerous additional film festivals. Currently, Ade lives in Los Angeles, California where he continues to pursue impactful projects for the Black community.
